Audit log and webhooks

Search the tenant's audit log, and send signed event notifications to your own systems with webhooks, including delivery history and retries.

The Audit page answers "who changed what, and when". Webhooks push events, such as a failed job or an offline robot, to your own systems as they happen. Both are tenant-level pages: switch the sidebar to Tenant. Search the audit log# You need audit.view in the tenant. Select Audit in the sidebar. Search, or select Show filters to filter by Action, Entity, User and a From and To date. Select an event to see its Before, After and Metadata values. Actions taken by the Orchestrator itself show the user System. Secret values never appear in the audit log. How long events are kept is set in Retention. More about what is recorded: Audit log. Create a webhook# You need permission to view and edit tenant settings (settings.view, settings.edit). Select Webhooks in the sidebar. Select New webhook. Enter the Endpoint URL (it must be https) and a Description. Under Events, tick the events to send, for example com.velophex.job.faulted, com.velophex.job.dead_lettered, com.velophex.robot.offline or com.velophex.alert.raised. Select Create webhook. Copy the signing secret. It is shown only once. Store it in the receiving system's secret store. Every delivery is a CloudEvents JSON message signed with that secret in the VeloPhex-Signature header. Verify the signature before you trust a message. The format, signature check and retry schedule are in Webhooks. Check deliveries and retry# On Webhooks, select ⋮ on the endpoint ▸ View deliveries. Filter by All, Delivered, Waiting or Dead letters, and read each delivery's outcome and response. To send a failed delivery again, retry it from its row. The receiver may get the same delivery id twice, so make your handler idempotent. Roll the signing secret# Select ⋮ on the endpoint ▸ Roll signing secret and confirm with Roll secret. Copy the new secret and update the receiver straight away: the old secret stops verifying immediately. Select ⋮ ▸ Delete to remove a webhook. Next steps# Webhooks reference Audit log Alerts
