Cryptography#

  • Decrypt File (Velophex.Cryptography.DecryptFile): Decrypts a file written by Encrypt File into a new file.
  • Decrypt Text (Velophex.Cryptography.DecryptText): Decrypts Base64 ciphertext written by Encrypt Text. AES-GCM also detects changed data.
  • Encrypt File (Velophex.Cryptography.EncryptFile): Encrypts a file of any type with AES-256-GCM (or AES-CBC) into a new file.
  • Encrypt Text (Velophex.Cryptography.EncryptText): Encrypts text with AES-256-GCM (or AES-CBC) and returns Base64 ciphertext.
  • Generate Random Key (Velophex.Cryptography.GenerateRandomKey): Generates a cryptographically strong random key or IV in Base64.
  • Hash File (Velophex.Cryptography.HashFile): Computes the hex hash (checksum) of a file.
  • Hash Text (Velophex.Cryptography.HashText): Computes the hex hash of a text, or its HMAC when HMAC Key is set.
